Yoga Retreats - singles, groups and partners

At various times of the year we run special yoga retreats in conjunction with Freddie Jones. a qualified yoga teacher and one of the warmest and kindest people you could meet.

Each week that we run these courses there are 2 options; to come for a 3 night break or the whole week

Freddie will offer instruction in various disciplines: Asana, Meditation and Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation). It will give you time to be, and time to restore and balance.

There will also be session of walking and Pranayama (working with the breath) in the mountain air - breath, peace, stillness………

Your Yoga Teacher - Freddie

Freddie holds a teaching diploma with the British Wheel of Yoga. She teaches Hatha yoga in England and has led several very popular retreats in Wales and Herefordshire.

You don’t need to be bendy to come on a yoga holiday with Freddie, just come with an open heart and let the rest happen.

All sessions will be gentle and each person is encouraged to work at their own level and accept their limitations, yoga is non competitive! Meditation is taken step by step as we encourage our minds to become still and quiet. JOY!

Your walking companion - Caroline

 

Caroline just loves being in the mountains and has spent the last decade discovering the multitude of tracks that criss-cross the Grand Massif, both on foot and on horseback.

She is an enthusiastic amateur when it comes to flowers and other wildlife and is keen to learn more and share this interest with others.

Your Chef - Nick

Nick has been catering for our guests for the past 10 years and over that time, he has amassed more than 150 different recipes, taking culinary influences from every corner of the world.

He is passionate about cooking and loves trying out and creating new recipes.  His vegetarian meals are wholesome and delicious.  Many guests return as much for the food as for the activities on offer in Les Carroz.

Vegetarian Menus - home-grown food

 

For our Yoga weeks, we provice a full vegetarian menu, with many of the produce grown in our own garden: courgettes, green beans, cabbages, leeks, beetroot and tomatoes.

Partners not wishing to join in with the yoga sessions are welcome too. Whilst their partners are benefitting from yoga, they are welcome to join one of our accompanied walks or just to do their own thing!

Staying in the calm and relaxing atmosphere of La Ruche, enjoying Nick's fantastic and healthy vegetarian meals they can be assurred of a truly blissful stay.
